He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Katherine "Punkin" Underwood and John Robert "Bob" Griffeth; his siblings, Sally and John "Buzz"; his niece Wynne; and also, Mary John and Ralph Spence.
He is survived by: his son Charles Teal Griffeth; his wife Louise; his siblings, Judy, Charles Tate, Tancy and Ralph Spence, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Mary John Frank, Louise, Drew Pennebaker, Ralph III, Nash, Benjamin Spence and Ann Grelling Foster; and his great-nephews, Robert, John, Will and Shepard Pennebaker. He is also survived by cousins and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Michael and All Angels (8011 Douglas Avenue at Colgate, Dallas, TX 75225).
