He was predeceased by: his parents, Jotham Goodell and Hazel Goodell (Coppedge). He is survived by: his wife Jean Goodell (Smith); his children, Miriam Enman and Greg Goodell (DeAnn); his grandchildren, Elise Mansfield (Sam), Brandon and Nathan Goodell; his great grandchild Jackson Mansfield; his sister Gay Johnstone; and his sister-in-law Mary Ferman (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Pastor Guy Goodell's name to Greater Glens Falls Bible Baptist Church.
