He is survived by: his children, Ernesto Acevedo, Dennise Acevedo (Jose Luis Saucedo), Ivan Acevedo (Guadalupe Ruiz) and Genisis Acevedo; his father Jose Acevedo Monroy; his siblings, Leticia, Clementina, Manuel, Sergio and Miguel Acevedo; and his grandchildren, Sofia G. Saucedo and Jose Luis Saucedo, Jr..
