He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Rowe and Marian Rowe; his wife Michele; his children, Frederick E. Rowe IV, Adam Rowe, Madeleine Rowe Riehl and Ginette Rowe Beecherl; and his sister Marian "Nini" Lion. He was also cherished by his ten grandchildren.

He liked to quote Michael J. Fox's line that Parkinson's is "the gift that keeps on taking.". But Parkinson's never robbed him of the essential qualities that made him so dear to all who knew him.
