Franklin; her children, Desionne and Jamion Franklin (Mirelle); her stepsons, Willie James Franklin Jr., Marcus Dewayne Franklin (Cherikka) and Michael Franklin; her grandchildren, Quran M. Coleman, Ghaysiah Franklin, Elijyah Franklin, Khaliq Franklin, Ganesha A. Thomas, Tianna T. Thomas, Joanbiya Franklin, Jamayia Franklin and Serene Franklin; her great grandchildren, Dylan K. Thomas and Sevyn T. Brown; her siblings, Freddie Lee Phillips Jr. and Bridget Yvette Woolen; her sister-in-law Brenda Phillips; and her nieces and nephews, Krystal Yvette Woolen, Christene Phillips, David Phillips and Damonica Phillips. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, sister, nephew and nieces.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peaceful Rest Funeral Home (3302 E Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75216).
