He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sr. Davidson and Elenora McCauley Davidson (Jimmie O'Barr Davidson); his grandchildren, Michael Young and Angela Davidson; his daughter Debbie Meeks; and his siblings, Cleburn Davidson and Sharrie Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Arvella Davidson; his children, Dale, Lindel Davidson, Fay and Cindy Davidson; his siblings, Ruth Rosenberg, Charles and Larry Davidson; and his sister-in-law Wanda Davidson. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
