She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel McCowin and Adline McCowin; her husbands, James C. Buckley and Wilford P. Turner; her children, Jesse Lee Buckley, Sr., Jerry Curtis Buckley and Rita Marie Buckley; her stepson James C. Buckley, Jr. (Jerry); and her sister Verneal McCowin.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jesse Buckley, Jr. (Diane), Cedric Buckley (Qjuanna), Sha'Mika Bailey (Cortney) and Anthony Lawrence Coleman, Jr.; and her brothers, Cal McCowin (Bobbie) of Verneal, S. A. and S. A. McCowin. She is also survived by his grandmother; nine great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
