She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stern and Anna Stern; her husband Miller Turner; her children, Francis and Victor; her granddaughter Tina; her great grandchild Ashley; and her nephews, John and James "Joe Boy".
She is survived by: her children, Bettye White (Bert) of Desoto, TX, James Epps (Patricia) of Dallas, TX, Sylvia Stern of Dallas, TX, Kenneth Stern of Dallas, TX, Cynthia Jones of Madison, MS and Karen Turner of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Sonia, Kizmet, Stephanie, Kimberly, Candice, Ebony, Autumn, Reginald, Gregory, Courtney, Braxton, Andre', Keenlan, Willie and Daniel; and her nephew Patrick Bryson. She is also survived by great grandchildren; (15) great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
