She was predeceased by: her parents, Alzalia Williams and Lue Cox; her daughter Cassandra LaDel Wilson; her siblings, Charlie Cox and Margaret Jewel Benson; and her grandson Kevin Arceneaux (KJ).
She is survived by: her daughter Shebronda Wilson-Lair (Ronald); her cousin Beverly Williams; her son Roderick Wilson; her granddaughters, Symphony Castille and Erica Russell; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Arceneaux, Kyla Russell, Krislyn Coleman and Kaysen Carter. She is also survived by cousins, former co-workers, friends, caring neighbors.
She was also blessed to have a stylist, Kim Mitchell, who made sure to schedule her appointments during times when others were not there... due to covid... and came to the rehabilitation center each time she was there to make sure her hair was in place and she didn't look like she felt.
