He was predeceased by: his parents, Ioannis Tatakis and Maria Tatakis; and his wife Maryann. He is survived by: his siblings, Leonidas, George and Calliope; his daughters, Joanna Tatakis and Greek Cafe (Bakery); and his cousin Ann-Marie Cariotis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
