He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marion and Willie Hammer; and his siblings, Blanche Rosenberg, Viva Jo Burkhart, Nina Patrick, Gerald Hammer and Jimmy Hammer.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Hammer (Amy) and Scott Hammer; his grandchildren, Jacob Hammer, David Hammer, Madison Hammer and Lily Hammer; and his sister Judy Nehib (Jim).
