She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Lay and Kizzie Hunter Lay; and her grandson Lowell. She is survived by: her husband William H. Equels (Bill); her son Jimmy Equels (Linda); her grandson Kris Equels; and her nieces, Rosanne Hunt of California and Karen Hunt Spangler of California. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
