She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Housley and Syntha P. Housley; her brother Robert Housley; her husband W. Douglas Tarrant; and her siblings, Burton Housley, Florine Crawley and Lida Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Freida Bearden (Jesse) of Albuquerque, Danny Powell (Debbie) of Albuquerque, Randy Powell (Connie) of Albuquerque, Patrica Dossett of Midlothian and Belinda McGuffin (Don) of Waxahachie, Texas.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, more than 30 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Eula Cemetery (5596 Co Rd 241, Clyde, TX 79510).
