With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Embry (Dallas, Texas), born in Greenville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Love and Myrtle Love; and her brothers, Phil, Rufus Jr. and Sammy Love (Joe Embry).
She is survived by: her husband Joe Embry; her children, Mark Embry (Marian), Owen Embry (Kenneth Robinson) and Dawn Embry; and her granddaughters, Carolyn, Stephanie and Christine Embry.
She found a new church family at Austin Baptist Church and was delighted when COVID passed to allow for her to meet them face-to-face.
