In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Echart and Johnnye Echart; and her brother Harold. She is survived by: her husband Les; her brother Jerry; and her sister-in-law Patty Stratton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and an abundance of great friends.
Memorials can be sent to First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, AR, Phi Beta Kappa Society, Hospice of Texarkana, or the charity of your choice.
