He is survived by: his sons, Derek D. F. Lilly and K. Blake F. Lilly; his daughter-in-law Kamella Lilly; his wife Janice Fox Lilly; his daughter-in-law Malia; his grandchildren, Greyson, Emmy Lou Austin and Jade; his sister Dawna Lake; his mother Linda Nichols; and his stepfather Richard Nichols. He is also survived by sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Blessing Colonial Chapel (401 Elm St, Mansfield, TX 76063). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
