She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smoot and Dollie Smoot; her siblings, Sue Darlene Smoot Lee and James Ronald Smoot; and her niece Jennifer Lochridge.
She is survived by: her husband Charles John of Vilder; her sister Cathy Lochridge; her children, C. J. (Claire) of Vilder, Myles (Caroline) of Vilder, Sera (Ian Burnham) of Vilder and Cat (Hannah Marie Heismann) of Vilder; her grandchildren, Charlie, Charlotte, Frances, Aiden and Augusta of Vilder; and her pets, Oscar and Percy.
