He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hove and Marilyn Hove; his wife Elizabeth Hove; his brother Richard Cleveland; and his children-in-law, Tammi Kerry and Thomas Curtis.

He is survived by: his children, Stannard (Matt) of Maryland, Slyvie Gragson (Charles), Penny Curtis, Daniel Kerry, Jessie Kerry (Martha) and Nolan Kerry (Traleesa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
