He is survived by: his son Joshua Kyle; his wife Nien; his daughter Elspeth; his brothers, Dr. Jeffrey Hermann (Donna), Colin and Jared; his nieces, Sophie and Olivia; his aunt Cathy Miller (Benno); his uncle Alvin J. Miller; and his cousins, Jordan (Miller), Burgess (Logan) and Ryan Miller.
