She was predeceased by: her son Robert Michael; and her siblings, Patsy Coats and Herb Meadows. She is survived by: her daughters, Blue Bird and Campfire Girls; her spouse Bob Arganbright; her daughters, Robin Lynn Womack (Rick) of South Lyon, MI and Susan Gail Allison (David) of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Caroline Anne, Kelly Gail and Jesse Reed; her great grandchildren, John Robert and Addison Helena; and her sister Paula Root.

Donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of her son, Robert Michael, who preceded her in death at age three.
