She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Lynn McDowell; her parents, Clara Nicks Black and Lyman Elbert Black of Athens; and her sister Frances Black Brandau of Houston, Texas.. She is survived by: her children, Robert McDowell (Sallye Reavis McDowell) of Fort Worth and Patricia McDowell Meachum (Charles Meachum) of McKinney, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Megan Ann McDowell of Dallas, Owen Meachum (Lillian) of McKinney and Hollis Meachum (Atkyn) of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren.
