Claire Mendive Brainin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire Mendive Brainin of Dallas, Texas, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Mendive and Nina Mendive; and her brother Larry Mendive. She is survived by: her husband Howard Lee Brainin; her brother Edward Mendive; her daughters, Nina Brainin French, Stacy Brainin Cobb (Bill) and Laura Brainin McBride (Jim); and her grandchildren, Catie French Epple, Robert French, Mike French, Ryan McBride, Blair McBride, Claire Cobb Lick and Will Cobb. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Claire's name to University Park United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army.
