He was predeceased by: his father Robert Anthony; and his son Anthony Graham Ball. He is survived by: his mother Mary Carolyn Ball (Hayes); his siblings, Stephen Andrew Ball and Mary Catherine Ball; and his sons, Nathaniel Hayes Ball and Robert Alexander Ball. He is also survived by two grandchildren and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Chip's name to the DFW Humane Society.
