He was predeceased by: his parent Drusilla Katherine Couch; his wife Margaret Marie Couch; his son Marvin Lee Couch; his stepdaughters, Cathy Lackey and Donna Breeding; his father James Couch; and his siblings, Thomas Woodson Couch, Otis Truman Couch, Bobbie Ruth Couch, Audy Fay Couch and Jimmie Nell Brown.
He is survived by: his son James Lee; his stepson Wayne Lackey; and his daughters, Delana Wax, Robin Ellis and Lepasanett Bowens. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, six brothers and seven sisters, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
