He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smith and Myrtle Shelton; his wife Vonna Smith; and his brother Charles Smith. He is survived by: his children, Scott Smith and Stacie Parker; his daughter-in-law Sammie Smith; his grandchildren, Peyton Smith and Cameron Parker; and his great grandchildren, Colton and Cohen Parker.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Jeter & Son Funeral Home (4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Dallas/Ft Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
