He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentis Looney and Lois Looney; his sister Linda; his wife Maurene Edwards; and his daughter Tonya.
He is survived by: his children, Martisha, Deshon, Dinetta, Ladonna, Stephanie, Derrick, Carl Jr., Nathan and Andre; and his siblings, Shirley, Theodis, Michael and Tony. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, great grandchildren.
