He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbie Jerome Clayton and Curtis Mae Mangrum-Clayton. He is survived by: his sister Vernedia Ann Clayton-Bynum; his nieces, Marilyn Bynum-Wilson, T'asia V. Wilson (Terrance B. Wilson, II), Chelsea Bynum-McKellum (Prince L. McKellum) and Wardell W. Page II (Prince L); his nephew Rev. Mercury V.; and also Nova L. Bynum.
Donations can be made to the Lighthouse for the Blind and the Salvation Army Angel Tree in place of flowers.
