He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Segundo Carlos Benitez and Maria Jovita Lara; his uncle Flavio Humberto Benitez; and his brother Fabian Ernesto Santacruz. He is survived by: his parents, Luis Ernesto Santacruz of Ecuador and Marta Cecilia Benitez; his daughters, Sophia Michelle and Stephanie Marie Benitez; the mother of his children Alicia Menchaca; his siblings, Gypsy Talib (Aqib Talib), Kevin Benitez and Jonathan Benitez; and his nieces and nephews, Fabian Howard, Kiara Talib, Jabril Talib, Jabari Talib, Isiah Benitez, Avery and Carter Benitez.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home (2525 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
