She is survived by: her children, Tim Ward and Anetha Ward; her grandchildren, Ashlee Ward and Adriel Ward-Rogers; her husband A. L. Barrett, Jr.; her siblings, Barbara Foster, Alice Ward, Pearlie Jean Ward (Albert), Diane Ward, Patricia Ward (Obbie), Vernetta Sherrard (Bobby), Sandra Webb (Gary), Sabrina Ward, Willie Fred Ward and Reginald Ward; her stepchildren, Angela Barrett Mays (Steve) and Antron Barrett; and her brother-in-law Samuel Barrett, Sr. (Angela). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
