He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Loretto and Josefina Loretto Anzueto; his daughter Kay Thorne; and his siblings, Carlos, Salvador, Hilda and Berta.

He is survived by: his wife Esthela; his son Charles; his daughter-in-law Roxane; his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Megan; his grandchildren, Kelley, James, Cole, Isabella, Maxwell and Margaret; and his stepgrandsons, Brayden and Bryce.
