He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Barr and Lolean Barr; his brothers, Greg and Stephen; and his brother-in-law Richard Longworth.

He is survived by: his siblings, Vicki Longworth and David (Linda); his nephew Aaron; and his nieces, Leslie and Ashley.
