He was predeceased by: his father Kit Sarkar; and his aunts, Manju Dutta and Ursula Wansel. He is survived by: his parent Gerlinde Sarkar; his brothers, Robert and Christopher; his sister-in-law Sophea Mao; and his nephew Nicholas.
