She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Moore and Bessie Moore (Chaney); and her siblings, Maxine Roberts, Wanda Coats, Juanita Carter and Bubby Moore.
She is survived by: her husband John T. Purvis II (Tom); her children, Greg Purvis and Diedra Purvis Cheek of Mt Pleasant; her grandchildren, Blakely Cheek of Mt. Pleasant and Brookelyn Cheek Shaw (Dylan) of Diana, TX; her great grandchildren, Koley Shaw and Kade Shaw; and her siblings, Patsy Chapman (Jimmy), Ethel Gray, Bettie Bynum, Donnie Moore (Linda), Ronnie Moore (Eva) and Bobby Don Moore. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Jefferson Baptist Church (1701 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
