She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Sheffield and Maudie Sheffield; her husband Jimmy Johnson; her son Jimmy Johnson II; her granddaughter Lisa Lobban; and her siblings, Wesley, G. W. Sheffield and Exa Fortner.

She is survived by: her children, Annette Edwards (Jim), Danny Johnson (Nancy), Robert Johnson (Denise) and Sean Johnson (Laura); and her grandchildren, Chris Lobban, Jason Edwards, Brad Johnson, Brandie Rodgers (Bill), Raechelle Henson (Westin), Emily Gray (Stephen), Sean Johnson II and Alex Johnson. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
