She was predeceased by: her father Frederick Kamminga Jr.; her stepfather Roger Dunkle; her grandparents, George, June Barents, Frederick Sr. and Barbara Kamminga; and her uncle Mark Shippy.

She is survived by: her son Jack Henry Jacobsen; her mother Ellen Dunkle; her brothers, Jason Kamminga (Irene Choi) and Kortney (Kathryn Kamminga); her nieces and nephews, Allison, Karter and Kayden; her aunts and uncles, Betsy Shippy, Sandra Parks, Susan (Mike Verwys), Marylou (Chip Bunata), Tom (Jennifer Dunkle), Tim (Kristin Dunkle) and Rick (Wendy Dunkle); and her grandmother Ruth Kamminga.

In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Alano Club of Kent County or Our Hope Association would be appreciated.
