LaPoint; his sister Sally Ann LaPoint; his stepsiblings, Joseph "Sonny Boy" Jolivet, Jeanette Dwyer, Charlene Jolivet and Shirley Jolivet; his sister-in-law Galatha LaPointe; his children, Katonya LaPoint, Ronda Price and Patrick Laster; his grandchildren, Makayla Jimmerson and Jaylon Lyons; his brothers, Harry LaPointe, Jr. and Grant LaPoint (Phyllis); his stepsisters, Willie Mae Jolivet-Diles and Alice Mae Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Rev. Nim Roy Range, R. J. Range, Jr. and Phyllis McCullough. He was also cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
