We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2024, at the age of 70, Alan Carden (Dallas, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Jessie Kay; his siblings, Keith, Ike, Robert Carden, Janie Carden, Lizzy Wood and Janie Martin; his father Hugh Smith; and his brother Johnnie Helms.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Carden; his daughters, Amy Stiver (David) and Stephanie Dickinson (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Noah, Shayde Atkinson, Abbie Dickinson and Kennedy Stiver; his sister Karen Harris (Robert); his family, Barbara Smith, Jan Steele (Rick) and Jo (George Berry); and his brothers, Rick Steele, George Berry and Carl Cooley. He is also survived by nieces, and great nieces and nephews.

Tim had a charitable heart, generously giving what he could to family and friends, organizations with missions close to heart, and providing the gift of life through organ donation after his passing. If you feel so inclined, please consider donating to an organization Tim supported (Wounded Warriors, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and CASA of Tarrant County).
