She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland, Jr. Sims and Gracie Sims (Wimes); her children, Andrew III, Cami and Tina Carroll; and her siblings, Jessee Lee, Amzire, James, Kathorner "Sonny" Sims, Mary Eliza Rosse, May Chapman and Dorothy Sims-Quinn.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. A. O. Carroll; her daughters, Tiffany Jackson, Miata Carroll-Walker, Kimberly West, Robine and Lisa Carroll; her grandchildren, Nira Carroll, Cecil Jackson, La'Oni Carroll McBride (Marquise), Amira Carroll, Nia Carroll-Walker, Sundari, LeZahria Walker, Jessica Hayward, Andrew and Michael Moss; her stepgrandchildren, Marquise II, Karmel and Carmelo McBride; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Gallishaw, Joseph and Jordyn Hayward; her siblings, Lucy Span, Michael Sims (Mercy), Kevin Prosser (Carol), Carmen Hicks (George) and Ann Easley (Bill); and her nephews, Jesse Rosse, Jr. and Leonardo Phillips. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
