He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Gonzales and Carmen L. Gonzales; and his siblings, Richard Quevedo, Dolores Hernandez, Robert Gonzales, Jose Manuel "Mighty" Gonzales and Jesse Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Brown; his children, Sonya Isom (Jody), Abel Gonzales Jr., Sophia Vasquez (Robert), Jeannette Gonzales and Yvette Castillo (Miguel); his grandchildren, Andy Jesse Gonzales, Gabrielle, Robert Jr., Ryan Abel Vasquez, Katherine, Lauren and Michael Patrick Castillo; and his sister Rosemary Calzada (Emilio). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home (3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum North Chapel (3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220).
