She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Marion Reynolds and Rosa Reynolds (Bentley); her husband Robert L. "Squib" Carruthers; and her daughter Jan Carruthers Stevens. She is survived by: her sons, Robert L. Carruthers (Victoria) and William Carruthers; and her granddaughter-in-law Michelle Griffin Stevens. She is also survived by eight grandsons and their wives, one granddaughter, and 11 great-grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
