He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Joseph Podzemny and Anna Podzemny (Besetzny); his spouse Lundy June Podzemny (Johnston); and his siblings, Ervin Podzemny, Edgar Podzemny, Oscar Podzemny, Charles Podzemny, Ann Erdman and Elsie Fluegel.
