She was predeceased by: her mother Bertha Mae Lantz (Kelley); her husband C. P. "Pete" Metcalf; her father Charles Wesley Lantz; and her siblings, Charles Leroy Lantz, Mary Elizabeth Lantz Douglas and Anne Myrtle Lantz.
She is survived by: her friends, Harry, Mildred Poole, Rosebud and N. M.; her children, Michael Phenix Metcalf of Dallas, Nancy Kay Bryant (Vernon W. Bryant, Jr.) of Ft. Worth, Jerry Lynn Metcalf (Sharyn Metcalf) of Houston and Barry Keith Metcalf (Diana Metcalf) of Dalhart; and her grandchildren, Amy Bowers (Adam Bowers) of Dalhart, Christopher Metcalf of Amarillo, Vernon W. Bryant, III (Chelsey Bryant) of Austin, Theron Lantz Bryant (Amy Bryant) of Ft. Worth, Megan Williams (Jason E. Williams) of Houston, Kerry Ringgold (John Ringgold) of Joshua, Jill Metcalf of Dallas, Barry K. Metcalf, II (Danna Metcalf) of Ft. Worth and Lauren Waggoner (Justin Waggoner) of Dalhart. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
