He was predeceased by: his parents, L. N. Raney and Mary Raney (Belyue); and his siblings, Nolan Ray and Mary Etta Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Turner; his grandchildren, Shawna Bucher (Wesley), Robynne Anderson, Joshua Raney, Cara Ann Raney, Jon Raney (Carla) and Adam Raney (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Waylon Bucher, Carter Anderson, Addi Klarie Anderson, Cheyenne Raney, Samuel Raney, Bregan Raney and Calab Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, with gratitude, memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 1000 E 16th St, Dalhart, TX, 79022 or favorite charity.
