He was predeceased by: his mother Rafaela Gomez; his son Daniel Gomez; his grandchildren, Robert Daniel Gomez, Jr. and Kimberly Sanchez; and his siblings, Edward "Lalito" Gomez, Valentina Samarripa, Chame Guerrero and Mary Alice Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa S. Gomez; his children, Robert "Bob" Gomez, Dorothy Ann Llanes (Jesus), Janie M. Salinas (Erik), Patricia R. Gomez (Miguel Medina), Augustine G. Gomez, Jr. (Josefina Gomez), Jimmy Guerrero, Jr. (Flor) and Stacie Woodworth (Casper Silgero, Jr.); and his brother Nieves Telles. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.
