He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mayfield; his son Douglas Mayfield; his grandchildren, Dixie Mayfield, Desirae Utley and Daniel Mayfield; and his sister Llavonia Hellums. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces nephews family and friends.
