She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Johnson and Lela Johnson; her husband Leo Evans; her son Anthony Evans; and her siblings, L. J. (Leo Jr), Arnetta Davis and Mae Ella Connally.
She is survived by: her children, Dorris Payne (Greg) of Balch Springs, TX, Lytha Reeves (Derrick) of Garland, TX and Andrew Evans of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Byron Johnson of Aubrey, TX, Christopher Johnson of Denton, TX, Brandon Johnson of Allen, TX, Darius Johnson of Lewisville, TX, Trevon Peoples of Sanger, TX, Kaleb Evans of Longview, TX and Isiah Evans of Daingerfield, TX; and her siblings, Marie Higgins of Daingerfield, TX, Bonnie White (James) of Fort Worth, TX, Mae Ozie Johnson of Daingerfield, TX, Eddie Johnson (Debra) of Daingerfield, TX and Curtis Wayne Johnson (Kathy) of Daingerfield, TX. She is also survived by great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
