It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie O. Dodson of Daingerfield, Texas, born in Naples, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Dodson and Vera Dodson; his wife Sarah Ann Collins; his daughter Shirley Swanner; and his siblings, Nora Cable, Vannie Mae Dennis and Gene Dodson.

He is survived by: his son Dan Dodson (Mary Ann) of Belton; his sister Frances Elliot (Charles) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Kimberly Belew (Jason) of Austin and Matthew Dodson (Veronica) of Belton; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Dodson, Isabella Dodson, Joshua Belew and Benjamin Belew; and his granddaughter Kim Belew Only (W. O. Dodson). He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
