He is survived by: his wife Pamela Garrett of Daingerfield; his stepson Damous Garrett of Daingerfield; and his siblings, Rodney Norwell (Valarie) of Rockport, Texas and Sarah Doty (Kyle) of Clifton, Texas. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; and great great-nephew.
