He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Virgil and Mildred Hazel McClure; his wife Nell McClure of Daingerfield; his children, Nicole "Nikki" Burgess (James) of Simms, James McClure (Michelle) of Mt. Pleasant, Todd Bohannan (Crystal) of Jenkins and Danny Bohannan of Lone Star; and his siblings, Jimmy McClure of Mt. Pleasant, Jerry McClure of Cookville and Pamela McClure of Mt. Pleasant. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that donations be made to Hughes Springs American Legion Post 351.
