He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Shadid and Winnie Gee Shadid; his grandparents, Hess, Claudia McNorton of Daingerfield, Abraham and Mary Shadid of Sherman; and his brother David Shadid of Daingerfield.
He is survived by: his wife Felicia Shadid of Naples; his children, Destiny Choquette of Naples and Brandon Sonntag of Seemes, Alabama; his sister Claudia McGill (Johnny) of Daingerfield; his sister-in-law Lura LaJoice (Clayton) of Rowlett; his father-in-law Johnie Blades of Naples; his grandchildren, Yanci Fitzwilliam, Nikolaz Choquette, Ryder Sharp, Connie Sonntag and Addison Sonntag; his nephew Brent McGill (Jamie) of Dallas; his nieces, Jennifer Tankersley (Jamey) of Bells, Marcie McGill of Daingerfield and Amelia LaJoice of Rowlett; and his great-nephews, James Tankersley, Tatum Jones and Brady McGill.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Daingerfield (306 W Scurry St, Daingerfield, TX 75638).
